COLLEGES: Battista scores 29 to power Bentley
Sophomore forward Lauren Battista of Easton scored a career-high 29 points while adding 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals to propel Bentley University to an 83-66 women’s basketball win over the University of Bridgeport on Friday in the Bridgeport Holiday Classic.      


Rick Bentley: Ex-KGPE anchor now an author
Kevin Walsh has been busy since leaving KGPE (Channel 47.1) in 2003 to take a job with the Comcast Cable Network in his hometown of Philadelphia. The former news anchor is now in Boston working for Comcast SportsNet New England.
